Hawk, if you do a JWN search you'll find the other threads with links posted, with 2012. I'm sure if you searh that exact url and just type in 2013, you may see the WTS enrolled again (not sure for 2013) which is just the tip of the iceburg.
Investment laws are different in England, so they do alot of investing there....they have things floating all around the world even in Africa.

Wha...I'm thinking damage control as well, plus the fact they're not getting the funds they used to from the masses.
Didn't the Conti case start around the time Unthank's case was going on? Plus, pedo priests around the same time were also getting busted, along with the Sandusky trial, and now with the Pope stepping down. I do believe, in the begining, the WTS felt they had a chance. But as time goes on, the pedo shit storm is growing stronger and stronger, and as you mentioned a victim who was abused by a preist and won, is now going after Mahoney.
Plus, isn't there interest on Conti's money they have to worry about?

That means the court web site updates/re freshes itself every hour. If there is/was any action on the case it won't show immediately, not until the page refreshes its self after an hour, then it will show up on the page.

a trusted source informs me that the "new light" about the faithful slave is to make its first printed appearance in the july 15th watchtower, which should be available for download online three weeks from now, on around april 15th.. i'm led to believe that the references to the new understanding are made in such a manner as to suggest the "new light" isn't that new at all, which suggests to me that little or no effort is being made to explain the doctrinal connotations.
my source and i are hoping to get a key paragraph posted at the earliest opportunity.

The last conversation I had with a family member, was how the WTS is always changing doctrine, but kept mums about the FDS.
JW masses are the last to know. JWN usually knows before they do.....so it will be a rude awakening for my family......then again, maybe not. But at least the seeds have been planted.

Many of us have been following the case from the begining. Even had ferce battles over leagal issues of the case, WTS vs Conti. However, one thing is clear. It's not over til it's over. The WTS can still pull a wiely card out of their ass.
They may have filed something today and it's not recorded/visable on the court site yet. At least not until the court site cache is cleared tonight or every few hours. Unless, Simons has a court clerck willing to let him know and has said something to Kathleen.....

last year, my last jw memorial, i listened to the talk as an outsider would.
the speaker strung unrelated texts together and for the first time, i saw that the interpretations made no sense.
afterward, i had a private memorial with homemade unleavened bread and wine with four people--three of whom partook.
